During the day, we’ll explore the costs associated with running your business. To help with this  we recommend you gather the following information and have it available to you in the session.

• A breakdown of your business expenses from your last tax return (2024/25), including the categories you claimed under, such as computer hardware, mobile phone, fuel, and public transport costs.
• Any pension contributions you’ve made.
• Insurance costs, including healthcare, income protection or life cover.
• An estimate of the time you spend interpreting, travelling, undertaking learning and development activities, and other business-related tasks each week or month.

Please note that this information is confidential, and we won’t ask to see it. However, you can choose to share information in discussions if you wish.

Don’t panic if numbers or spreadsheets send you into a panic. We will run through this together during the workshop. This is just to help you hit the ground running.
